Yes — MeetScribe is free during the launch period. Fair-use transcription quota applies. Detailed pricing is shown on the Zoho Marketplace listing.

Professional, Enterprise, Ultimate, CRM Plus, and Zoho One. Not Standard or Free editions (Zoho doesn't support widgets on those tiers).

All modern browsers — Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, and Brave. No browser-specific dependency. Microphone permission is required.

10 languages: English (India), English (US), Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, and Bengali. Mixed-language conversations (Hinglish, Tanglish) work well — pick the dominant language from the dropdown.

MeetScribe uses industry-leading AI transcription technology with excellent accuracy for Indian languages and code-switched speech (Hinglish, Tanglish).

No. Transcription happens after you click Stop. We tested live transcription and found it inaccurate and unreliable. Our AI engine runs after recording stops and delivers dramatically better results in 5–15 seconds.

Yes — works in mobile browsers. Recording quality depends on the device microphone.

Yes — MeetScribe captures audio from your microphone. If your operating system allows mic loopback, it can also pick up the other party. Always obtain consent before recording.

Features and CRM

How transcripts and audio are saved.

In the MeetScribe Transcript custom field on the same record where you started the recording. The audio file is attached to the record automatically.

Yes — you can review and edit the transcript in the widget before clicking Save to CRM.

Yes — just edit the MeetScribe Transcript field directly on the record.

Yes — transcripts are stored as a CRM field, so they're included in standard Zoho CRM exports.

Up to 25 minutes per session for best results. For longer meetings, stop and start a new recording.

Privacy and data

What happens to your audio?

Yes. Audio is sent over secure HTTPS to our transcription service, processed in seconds, and discarded immediately — never stored on our servers. Only the final transcript and audio file are saved, and they go directly into your own Zoho CRM. No analytics, no tracking, no resale.

MeetScribe uses a secure cloud AI transcription service plus the Zoho CRM SDK to save data. No other third-party services, analytics, or trackers.

Troubleshooting

When something doesn't work.

1. Check your browser's microphone permissions for crm.zoho.com. 2. Refresh the CRM page after granting permission. 3. Try a different browser if the issue persists.

Your audio is still saved as an attachment — nothing is lost. Check your internet connection and try recording again. If failures persist, email support.

Click Copy to copy the transcript and paste it into any field manually. Verify the MeetScribe Transcript field exists on the module. Reinstall the extension to recreate the field if missing.

Confirm the extension is installed for your user/profile. Ensure the button is added to the relevant page layout. Check your profile permissions for custom buttons.
